Plan Consulting Services – Design analysis and review. Plans can be designed using a variety of plan types to maximize tax benefits to owners and officers of your firm or to create a competitive retirement benefit for your employees. Once designed, we will prepare the necessary plan documents and IRS filings as required.
Administrative Services – Our skilled staff members monitor the effectiveness of your retirement plan on an ongoing basis and keep you regularly informed. Uniglobal has developed proprietary software to verify data integrity. AUDIT (Automated Uniglobal Data Integrity Testing) electronically compares information provided by financial institutions with client census and payroll data quickly and easily. Our systems can accommodate many financial investment combinations. We work with a wide range of insurance companies, investment firms, mutual fund companies, and financial professionals.
Plan Reporting and Disclosure Services – Uniglobal prepares annual valuation reporting (including required coverage and benefit discrimination testing), Summary Annual Reports (SAR) and Summary Plan Descriptions (SPD), and IRS/DOL/EBSA reporting forms as required.
We provide these services assigning a specific contact to your account who is given the responsibility and accountability for delivering your services needs accurately and efficiently. We believe this assigned approach is critical in developing an effective working relationship with those in your office responsible for the plan’s operation.
As third-party administrator for your plan, we will:
• Work with your investment professional advisor(s) to help ensure your plan meets your company’s goals and objectives.
• Build new plans or redesign your existing plan as needed.
• Maintain proper compliance with ever-changing pension laws.
• Choose the appropriate plan document and prepare the IRS filing for a favorable determination letter.
• Assist with plan implementation and prepare plan amendments when necessary or requested.
• Determine eligibility and vesting for all employees on an annual basis.
• Perform coverage, contribution and discrimination tests annually to ensure the plan complies with the Internal Revenue Code.
• Calculate retirement or termination benefits.
• Assist the plan sponsor in calculating the annual employer contribution allocations.
• Perform reconciliation of plan deposits and withdrawals annually.
